The Annual Edvard Munch Sale 2026
Established in 2000 as the only specialist auction of its kind, The Annual Norwegian Edvard Munch Sale has evolved into an international marketplace for prints and original works by Edvard Munch. The auction has achieved numerous world auction records and has become an essential event for collectors of Munch.
Held annually in December at Oslo Militære Samfund ("Oslo Military Society"), the auction attracts both Norwegian and international buyers, further strengthening Munch’s position in the global art market.
Free valuation
We are pleased to offer valuation of objects free of charge for the purpose of future sale at Grev Wedels Plass Auksjoner. Valuations can be carried out in several ways, either by bringing the object to the gallery for immediate viewing, or by sending us a photo, either by post or e-mail.
