The Munch Museum did not know of this water-colour on beforehand. Senior Curator of Prints and Drawings Magne Bruteig at The Munch Museum has informed us that this Head of a Woman, most likely, is, either the Model Frøydis Mjølstad who modelled for Edvard Munch in the years 1916 to 1924, or Annie Fjeldbu, who modelled for him in the years 1918 to 1923.
