Pons Fabricius is Rome's oldest bridge, built in 62 BC. Also called: Pons dei Quattro Capi. The bridge stretches from the eastern side of the Tiber to Tiber Island. Pons Cestius, built in 44 BC, connects Tiber Island with the western side of the city.
