Evangeline Muddock (1883-1953) was a British violinist, who took the stage name Eva Mudocci. Jens Thiis writes of Eva Mudocci and the Danish pianist Bella (Isabella) Edwards (1866-1974): "I became acquainted with them before Munch did, in Trondheim during a concert tour, when we had a little party for them in our home at Stavne. The brooch which Eva Mudocci is wearing is traditional Norwegian jewellery which I gave her on this occasion." (Jens Thiis, 1933 "Edvard Munch", p. 252, footnote).
