Hans Jæger (1854-1910) was a Norwegian writer, bohemian and anarchist. It was Jæger who gave the Kristiania Bohemians their name and who set the tone for this cycle of young, radical artists and intellectuals.
Hans Jæger III is the last graphic work from the artist's hand and was printed just a few days before Edvard Munch died on 23 January 1944.
