Some impressions printed on the same sheet as cat. nos. 320 (Walking Tiger), 325 (Reclining Lioness)and 334 (Eagle’s Head), which were on the same stone.

Edition of 15 impressions on Japan paper and ca. 60 on heavy white wove, according to exh. cat. Blomqvist 1917.

A similar subject appears in drawings of ca. 1895 (MM T 1383; private collection). Executed together with the prints for “Alpha and Omega” but not included in the portfolio (cf. cat. no. 345 (The Bear)). P. 268.
