Inger Desederia (sic) Barth (1885-1950) was married to Dr. Peter Barth. Munch painted two full-length portraits of her in 1921 (RES, Woll 1399; private collection, Woll 1400). Woll 2012, p. 414.
Under cat.no. 1399 Woll writes among other things:
The portrait was commissioned by the husband of Inger Barth, Dr Peter Barth, an old acquaintance of Munch’s. As usual, Munch executed two versions, see also cat.no. 1400.
Munch also executed a lithographic portrait of her (Woll 663).
