You must be registered with a user account on Invaluable in order to bid online during the auction.
1) What is Invaluable?
Invaluable is an online live bidding platform. This means you can follow the auction in real time and bid on items as they are being sold, just as you would if you were bidding in the auction room.
Before the auction, you must register with a user account on Invaluable and sign up as a bidder for our auction.
2) How do I create a user account on Invaluable?
Go to invaluable.com. Click “Sign up” in the upper right corner. Follow the instructions by entering your name, email, and password under “New Users.”
To log in, enter your registered email/username and password.
You are now ready to register as a bidder for our auction.
3) How do I register as a bidder for the auction through Invaluable?
You must first have a registered user account on Invaluable – see point 2.
You can follow this link
to view our auction catalogues on Invaluable. Then click “Register to bid” under the auction(s) you are interested in. Follow the instructions by entering your name, address, phone number, and card information.
You are now registered as a bidder for the auction.
4) How do I bid during the auction?
Autumn Selections begins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, 24 November 2025. Make sure you are logged in and registered as a bidder well in advance of the auction – see points 2 and 3.
Go to invaluable.com, search for “Grev Wedels Plass Auksjoner,” click on the auction(s) you are interested in, and then click the red field “enter live auction” (note: this will be available approximately one hour before the auction starts).
You will now see a three-part screen:
At the top left is the livestream of the auction as it happens in real time.
Below the livestream you can follow the bidding and see the next possible bid. To place your bid, click on the field showing the next bid amount.
On the right, you will see the lot currently being sold.
At the bottom of the screen, you can scroll back and forth through the catalogue to view lots already sold and those upcoming.
Tips:
For the best experience, use a PC or Mac rather than a mobile device or tablet, to follow the livestream most effectively.
Use the browser Google Chrome.
Don’t wait too long to place your bid. We allow about one minute per lot, and the item is sold when the auctioneer brings down the hammer. Make sure your sound is on.
